the lion who shot back |
Indiscriminate babbling by a ginger with too many hands on his time and not enough time on his hands. Still formulating what types of filth flarn filth I'll be plaguing this corner of the internets with. Stay tuned, cheers. |
Heyo, one thing thats quite certain when touring is the days start to meld together, with the long drives, odd sleep schedules and “work” not starting till 9-10 things start to get a little off. As we head into the 2nd week of spreading our music all over peoples faces, giggidy… a few observations have been made by yours truly.
1. You begin to appreciate the little things. i.e. showers, normal meals, a decent toilet, a comfortable place to lay your head at night, or morning depending on our schedule.
2. My life used to revolve around what time my shift started, now it revolves around mile markers.
3. The city I couldnt wait to move out of (orlando) now sounds like the best place in the world.
4. Besides massive amounts of sleep deprivation, mild starvation, and a constant back and forth battle between constipation and my asses own rendition of the the floods of New Orleans, I feel better than ever. The rock n roll lifestyle is not practical, at least not for me. Sure drinking sounds fun the night before, but when you wake up in the sauna…sorry, I mean bus the next day at 10 am sweating beer and the hammer of the gods is slamming your head over and over again…..yeah doesn’t work. Plus my addiction to crystal meth has been reduced to only 10 hits a day, wooo!!!
And on that note, here’s some pics from the past couple of days.

Williamsport, PA. Awesome place, free food and beer (in house brewed too!)

Big ass burger with some big ass onion rings!

Passing through Cincinnati on our way to Louisville, KY
