the lion who shot back

So the bands second day off came to an end 48 minutes ago, “tomorrow” we continue our ransacking of the southern states, and I’ll be perfectly honest, I can’t wait to get back at it.  Its been nice relaxing for two days but I’ve got the bug and all I want to do is play.  We’ve been staying with Freddie, our booking agent/promoter/gracious host/kick ass dude and his family and its been great.  Its been a long time since I’ve felt like I’m living the southern way, and this was a warm reminder of my roots and growing up in Newberry, Fl (10 min outside of Gainesville, boooo vols, go gators!!)  One of my new favorite passtimes on the road is going to walmart which we seem to do in every other town, it gets progressively better the further south we go.  The only bummer is we didn’t make it to the smokies which are 5 miles away, so close but yet so far away, on the flip side we’ll be in eastern tenn for the next two days playing so there’s still an opportunity to fight me a black bear with nuthin’ but a butter knife, yaaaar!!!

So Im going to be improving this blog as far as layout and extra doo-higgy’s for ye viewers (or is it just viewer?) and putting it more in the limelight as far as introducing it on the Robbie Hazen & The Riot fan page on facebook for other folks to enjoy,  http://www.facebook.com/pages/Robbie-Hazen-and-the-Riot/140444916330

This means I’ll have to step up my photo taking, which has floundered the past week, my apologies.  The band and Freddie spent the better part of the afternoon formulating some new marketing/promotional strategies and came up with some great ideas and we’ve developed multiple short & long term goals.  We’re going to make things happen, believe that.  More tomorrow, g’night.
