Day Off.
Heyo, we got a day off in rainy Pascagoula, MS today. Trying to heal up an ailing throat, while still enjoying the day off :) Feels good to be 2/3’s of the way through the tour. Quite excited about the coming dates in louisiana and texas. Its funny because I see the tour being almost over, but yet there’s still two weeks left, which will fly by. Here’s a rough plot of the...

Tennessee=the cats pajamas.
So the bands second day off came to an end 48 minutes ago, “tomorrow” we continue our ransacking of the southern states, and I’ll be perfectly honest, I can’t wait to get back at it. Its been nice relaxing for two days but I’ve got the bug and all I want to do is play. We’ve been staying with Freddie, our booking agent/promoter/gracious host/kick ass dude and...
The South Will Rise Again!!
ok not really but we are done with the northern leg of the tour which is a beautiful thing, it feels like progress. I’m not gonna lie, its weird up north, not in a bad way but not in a good way either. What I find interesting is the south is always portrayed as backward and behind on the times and blah blah blah, but some of the laws in the north make no sense. You cant buy beer in a gas...
Everythings a blur...
Heyo, one thing thats quite certain when touring is the days start to meld together, with the long drives, odd sleep schedules and “work” not starting till 9-10 things start to get a little off. As we head into the 2nd week of spreading our music all over peoples faces, giggidy… a few observations have been made by yours truly.

New York
It took 2 1/2 hours to get to the venue from Westwood, NJ, which is about 30 minutes outside of NYC, hooray! We managed to take pretty much every form of transportation in the city while there. The city was pretty cool, too many people for me personally but at nightime it was really cool. I’ll let the pics do the talking.

Zee Big Apple
Great show in Allentown, PA tonight!! Had an awesome crowd, energetic, and dancing and we as a band are really starting to mesh and develop a sound. I foresee good things my friends :) We had a sweet funk rock band open for us that go by the name Tarsus, hopefully they’ll be out touring soon, they got a good sound and good musicianship. Tomorrow is a big show, not in the sense of the...

There I stood, with my cart in the toiletries aisle, perusing the body washes and shampoos (all of which were eco-friendly, mind you, before you get your overgrown pubic hair in a tangle over the ethics of my shopping) when you walked directly AT me. It was almost as if you were going to walk…

Pittsburgh
This city gets massive amounts of points just based off the entry into the city, F’ing incredible, I am angry at myself for missing the chance to take a shot of it. We drove 4 hours through pennsylvania seeing nothing but mountains and a few small towns. So I’m asking myself, how cool can Pittsburgh really be right? Well next thing I know we’re driving into a tunnel that cuts...
Hospitality
Well what a great day. We arrived at the Schotten’s (family friends of robbies) place last night at about 3. Since then we’ve been living the high life. These wonderful people have renewed my faith in humanity. The amount of love and hospitality they have showed us today has been so nice and we are eternally grateful. This experience is getting better and better.

Christopher Columbus would be ashamed...
..Assuming this city was named after him of course. So we played our first show tonight in Columbus, Ohio (you ain’t missing much). Unbeknownst to me, OSU is in Columbus, not to mention we were playing right across the street from campus. I’d walked right into the heart of enemy territory. Performance dress code be damned! I rocked my gators shirt proudly.

Marry Land.
Passing through Maryland right now, about 8 miles from West Virginia. This state is insanely beautiful. Everywhere you look its rolling green mountains. First show tonight, no butterflies yet, sweet. Look! Pictures!!

Waaaaaaaaaaaa!! Today we spent most of the day in a basement rehearsing with the bassist, Nate for the first time. Really cool little setup, only downside was there was no ac so essentially the room was a sauna. We have our first show in Columbus, Ohio tonight. I’m insanely tired right now and my mind can’t think straight so g’night.

First post...kinda..sorta
First post!!…..since may, woooo!!!! Alright lets get things started. I’ve never done a blog, and until recently didn’t really understand/appreciate them and their uses so this will probably be awkward for a while until I figure the ins and outs…out. I’ll try and avoid the blog cliches of complaining and feeling like the worlds out to get me, thats boring....
